Sydney is a bustling metropolis! Very different from the pace of the other cities we have been in. We were discussing that this has been four very different mini vacations mushed together. Hi from Oz! This has been a wild trip so far! I have been poisoned, burned, bruised, sleep deprived, soaked, swung from a tree, and ran away from a jellyfish and some ants that sting like wasps! Luckily the food poisoning was early on. The sunburn from the sail boat is fading. I probably will get a whole nights sleep without the obnoxious Lorakeets in pt Douglas! We headed up to Cape Tribulation today. It is about two hours north of Port Douglas. We started the day at the Port Douglas wildlife habitat. They had all kinds of native species to Australia. We saw Cassowaries, crocodiles, kangaroos, emus and koalas. I got to hold a koala! I had my picture taken with Cody the koala. He was so cute and his fur was so unique. Today we went out snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef. We met the boat at the marina and headed out. We had to motor about one hour to the low isles. It was a very secluded and we were able to go right off the beach. There was a giant clam garden that was beautiful. There were both hard and soft corals. Every color of the rainbow. Also every shape of fish. There was a sea turtle that mom saw before we were even in the water. I saw a black tip reef shark...
