We went back into Christchurch on Sunday and flew out to Brisbane on Monday. It's a lot warmer here and fells like the midddle of summer. We stayed in an appartment last night and it felt like luxury. We picked up the van this morning and is much better than the one we had in NZ.

We haven't really done much today apart from re stocking with food and letting the kids have a play. The campsite we are staying on is really nice but the pool was too cold to swim today. We went out to a koala colony today but didn't manage to see any although we did see our first kangaroo of the trip. It was a small grey one (no idea of breed) and it was stood in the woods eating a bush and posing for photos. We also saw some strange looking birds which we have taken pictures of be we have no idea at all what we are looking at.
