This is my last blog from Australia as we are now at Sydney airport waiting for our flight to Hong Kong.
We went to see the Blue Mountains on Friday and went to Scenic World. This is a place where they used to mine (the kids know all about this now). We went on the steepest railway in the world and Noah thought it was great and laughed all the way down but Poppy thought it was scary.
On Saturday we wnet into Sydney and looked around the Harbour and the Opera House as well as the botanical gardens and then took the ferry to Darling Harbour.
Sunday we spent on Newport beach before going to a barbie at one of Jen's work friends.
Monday we went up to Palm Beach (Home and Away) and today we have just been packing up and getting ready to leave , although me and the kids managed an hour on the beach at Narrabeen.
We have covered 2200 km in Oz and added to the 5500 in NZ you would have thought there would be some accidents along the way. Well I believe Jen wrote something about me at the beginning of the trip in NZ so now I will spill the beans on Jen. A couple of days ago Jen knocked a shop sign in the petrol station with the roof of the van. When I went to pay the guy wanted me to fill in an accident form but as he wouldn't give me a copy I wouldn't fill it in so that was the end of that. But on Tuesday she managed to hit a parked van in the carpark. We gave the guy $100 (about 40 pounds) and he was happy with that. We have also had to paY ANOTHER $120 to the van hire company as we had a smashed light.
Still not bad for 7700 km
