We have spent today in Akaroa and the weather has been absolutely fantastic. It's like summer has started again. We went out on a boat tour today and saw some Hectors dolphins which are the smallest dolphins in the world and are only found in New Zealand. We also some a couple of blue penguins (from a distance) and some more seals.
Akaroa was the only part of New Zealand the was settled by the French but there is little evidence left apart from the road names.
We are now in Christchurch and have checked in to our last campsite in NZ and it is a really good one. There is a swimming pool and spa pool as well as a small cinema. Should be fun tomorrow. We met up with Chloe and Grace this evening for tea as Phil couldn't make it down this weekend and all is now quiet in the van.
Packing day tomorrow so I hope the weather is good. I will be checking for Southampton's result on Monday and I know they have to beat Southend by more goals than Stoke win by to be guarenteed a spot in the play offs so it has gone down to the wire.Â
