My desk arrived yesterday and I'm afraid I don't want to wait until you get home to put it together. It's very awkward having the computer in one room and my spacious desk in another!! Sorry.

Weather here is not very nice at the moment. It rained a lot last night. May go to Cambridge with Bridget tomorrow and may not!! I'm a fair weather tourist! She's taking me to hear some nightingales next Tuesday evening! If it rains too much we'll just eat and chat!

I made krispie cakes yesterday!! I have never made them before and they was uber scrummy, and now i want to make some every day, but i can't, cos we'll get so fat and poor. It may well be worth it though.

Uni is going really well thanks! i cant believe i only have 3 weeks of lectures then exams and i've finished my first year! It's flown by.

You wouldn't believe how much Grace has grown, i didn't realise until the other day! She gets very confused when Uncle Ant tells her to find Auntie Cat, shes just looking around her staring at the floor trying to find Ollie, their Cat! its very sweet.

We need to meet up when you get back, all the photos look amazing! Are you getting proper showers yet?

Just been catching up with your blogs and photos. What a lot of different things you have been doing. Some places I remember from Jen's photos. But I don't think she came accross as many cats as you seem to have done. TV prog about Queenstown recently, so recognised many of the delights there too. I guess you will miss all the friends when you move on, but then there will soon be new ones? The front room at home is looking so good now. Have your folks sent you any photos to view? Sounds like you're packing in the fun! Franz glacier is amazing to climb up isn't it. Well done for paragliding - bet it was great. Did you like the toilets at Puzzle world?

Are you going to skydive at Taupo? It used to be the cheapest place!

I guess you'll be going to Rotorua after that - get yourself a peg for your nose though! The spa near the museum is wonderfully relaxing after you've been travelling for a while.

Greetings from Booty Land! Don't worry, we are all keeping up with your bloggy! Shame about the dolphins but at least you got to see them! Is there anywhere else on your stop that you can go and swim with them.

Glad that you kept up the tradition of afternoon tea, must remember that you are british, what!!!

Not much going on in booty land. Have spent all the wedding money now, which is good cos we have a lot of cool stuff and a holiday booked but now i can't just go for unfettered spending. I had a week off 14th-18th may and did lots and spent loads and brought another pair of shoes, making it 5 in one week!!! WHOO HOO! Also turned into middle aged gardening Booty, and trying to grow food in our little patch (a la Good Life) which could work or fail miserably, but we shall see. Balancing this with new/re found interest in cocktails, so when you come back home I will be a) an cocktail master and/or b) an alcoholic. Not sure what the Tesco delivery people think of me but never mind!

Am heading back to the garden city for the bank holiday and plan on taking lots of piccies for facebook for you to see.

Sorry not to have replied before. Of course we're reading the blog. Computer goes on every morning as soon as we get downstairs, just in case it's the day for a blog or email.

Shame about the dolphins. You should try sealegs or something if you know you're going out in a boat. They're not just for cars you know. Perhaps there'll be some dolphins somewhere else you're going to. Hope so. How did Jo get on?

Thanks for replying to my email about the chair. Yes you can have beige. You can always put a throw over it to keep dirty paw prints off!! I had chosen beige too for the sofa but unfortunately they're out of stock. Plenty of beige chairs (over 10) but no sofas so I have asked to be notified when they come in and will order them both then. No point in paying two lots of delivery charges if I don't have to. They'll make a little suite if we ever wanted to put them together!

Hope you've found Auntie Helen's cousin by now. It'll be nice to be in a private house for a change if they've room for you.

If we send birthday cards to Poste Restante (can't remember how to spell it!) in Vegas do you think it would be a good idea? We'd like to feel you had something tangible from us, not just good wishes from a computer!!

Walked into town today (glorious as Dad says) and collected the enlargement of that photo of Grandma and Grandpa. It looks really nice. I had smaller copies done for you and Deb too. And they accidentally did two enlargements and wouldn't charge for the second!!
