Started my adventure up the west coast early this morning. There is only 11 of us on the tour which is pretty good, hopefully we'll all get on really well! So there is me and Chloe, the two Irish girls from the hostel Mandy and Cato, Kerry eho is English but lives in Oz, Lotte from the Netherlands, 3 Taiwanese girls July Grace and Lansie, Doreen from Germany and a German guy Flo. Our tour guide Luke seems like a bit of a nutter which is always good!

So our 1st stop was the Pinnacles in the Nambung National Park. The pinnacles r there limestone pillars which r just sticking up from the desert, very bizarre looking! Now the Dreamtime story goes that the people of this land were not respecting it and as punishment for not listening to the warnings they were burried under the sand and the pinnacles r their arms sticking up, bit freaky! The Irish girls found one that looked like a willy, so mature lol!!! However we did all hav to hav our foto taken with it cause we r just that mature, guess its a sign of things to come lol!

So from there we headed up to Kalbarri. We stopped off at a beach for some lunch however it was a bit grey and not very warm for a picnic on the beach. However Luke has assured me that it will get warmer within the mext day or 2! We also stopped off briefly in Geraldton for petrol and we also met Lukes parents and their dog, strange but they seem nice and we wanted to take the dog with us, however we wernt allowed to :( It ended up being pretty dark when when we were driving to Kalbarri and as a result we hit a kangaroo. However it didnt die so Luke had to kill it, not very nice.

Having got to Kalbarri we checked into our hostel, most of us girls were all in the same room which was good, the Irish girls were in a different room which was a shame tho. For dinner that night we went to a BBQ restaurant. I had a really nice stake and we all had a few drinks and got to know each other, everyone seems pretty nice. Had a few more drinks back in the hostel and then headed to bed.
