Went for a wee meeing with the guys at the head off of The Change Group in Australia today. Thought i might be able to get a job in Sydney with them, which would be really handy but they are shutting two branches just now so have more than enough staff at the moment which kind of sucks :( however there is possibility that i might be able to get some work in Surfers Paradise, Darwin or Perth, need to make some phone calls and see how I would work it into my travel...

Spent today chilling out on Bondi Beach. It was so busy, think the whole of Sydney must have headed there today! There also appeared to be a festival of winds on. There was loads of amazing kites on the beach. Think my favourite was the giant teddy bear, there was also an octupus and a fly amongst many others. We also happened to come across a wee show. Had a lovely day at Manly Beach. We set off from the hostel quite early to catch the ferry from Circular Quay to Manly so we had a full day on the beach, and i'm quite glad we did as it started to get cold about 3ish! So we found ourselves a nice wee spot and settled down for the day. So the past few days have been a mixture of looking for somewhere to live, trying to find a job, seeing new places and chilling out. Today we went for a cruise around Sydeny Harbour. We started our journey by walking to the harbour through the Botanic Gardens, which are beautiful. As we walked through we saw some fruit bats, cockatoos and a few other exotic birds. It's such a nice park with lovely views across the harbour. Think i'll go back at some point to wander around and chill out. Sydney actually reminds me a bit of my lovely Glasgow with all the different parks dotted around the city. ...
