I am now in Brisbane, its great here, its a cross between Sydney and Bryon Bay.

I'm so glad that i've left Surfers Paradise! I really didn't like it there! Thankfully when I got on the bus from Bryon Bay I saw a guy that I did my Oz Intro with and he booked in to the same hostel as me. Surfers was like Blackpool! It would have been good for a girly holiday but not for being a backpacker!!

I got to Brisbane on Friday 13th and me and Carl booked in to a hostel together called Aquarias, we got dropped off at the Transit Centre and rang the hostel and after explaining that we were at the Transit Centre and didn't no how to get to the hostel they said they were in Surfers Paradise not Brisbane!! They ended up charging us for the nights accommodation and we had no where to stay!! We found our bus driver and he managed to get us in to a hostel but we had to share a double bed in a private room!! I really didn't care as long as we had somewhere to stay! Luckily Oz Experience are going to reimburse me for the nights accommodation because I'd got a list of accommodation from them and they had messed up by putting Acquarias under Brisbane and not Surfers!! It was a nightmare! When we were checking in to the hostel I saw a guy I no from back home Owen!!

On Valentines day, Me, Gemma, Kelly, Rachel and Paula went to a Koala Scantuary! It was amazing, we held Koalas and I even held a Crocodile! It was only a baby and had its mouth taped shut so that it couldnt bite!

Yesterday we went on a City Orienation and went on the Brisbane Wheel, not as good as the London Eye! he he.

I'm now looking for a job, as the weather isn't great up the coast so thinking of working for a while until the weather gets better!
