Hi Guys. We fly from Hong Kong to Auckland on Thurs night/Fri. Auckland wasn't that great and we decided to book the magicbus which takes you all around New Zealand in 11 days. We spend the night in our first hostel. Ahem (I take back what I said before about being a fully fledged traveller - I wasnt. NOW I AM!) Anyway, the next morning we got up at 07:45 to catch our first bus, only to realise we were standing at the bus stop at 06:45 - we'd got our alarms wrong! So, we travelled to Waitomo learning some cool stuff along the way and seeing some stunning views. We spend the night at a Mauri village, learning all sorts about their culture, watching singing, dancing, and eating a traditional Mauri feast. The next morning we caught our bus to Taupo, stopping along the way to see waterfalls, sulphur thingys (smelt AWFUL) etc... A few people went sky diving but as you can imagine... I passed! Tonight we're going out to rocking 'Taupo' where there is a huge lake - the size of Singapore! Tomorrow takes us down to Wellington (I think...) By the way; NZ is really beautiful but kinda odd! The houses all look like old people homes and everything is one story - you feel like you in toy town. Its incredibly beautiful though and so lush and green. It is absolutley freezing here so you can imagine how pleased I am about that. Hopefully speak soon everyone and don't forget to email or leave those messages! Loving and missing you all. Xxx.
