Kim's Travels
Today we just about made it up for our 7 o'clock start in the ABSOLUTE FREEZING COLD with LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS OF RAIN to greet us. We had a relatively short coach journey and arrived in Dunedin at about 2 o'clock. Its a highly student populated town, with the only uni in NZ where you can study dentistry (?!) At first I thought it was going to be really grotty as there seemed to be run down and has lots of factories etc... (Doesn't beat lovely Queenstown!) However I wandered into town and its acutally quite pleasant but VERY hilly (!). At 3 we went to the "must-see Cadbuy factory" (pure New Zealand culture don't you know). It was very cool to check it all out and see the only chocolate (water) fall in the world - where a tonne of chocolate falls in 28 seconds... Very exciting! They have so many choccies we don't have back home, seriously, we're missing out! After the tour we strolled home, pickedc up some shopping and are now going to chill out in our super cool hostel - its really trendy and clean, plus a really nice bar. Tomorrow we've got our last stop before Christchurch; our destination! From there we're really going to try and swim with Dolphins in Kaikoura (weather and time permitting) so keep your fingers crossed for us! How are you all? Let me in on all the goss from home, missing you all tonnes. Mwah mwah mwah... Xxx
