Hello people. Hope you\'re all well. Today I had a HUGE ly in which I feel a million times better for (all these 6 o\'clock starts are taking their toll!). I\'ve spend most of today wandering around Queenstown; its a lovely place and by far my favourite in New Zealand so far. Its very pretty, has very cool shops, a nice water front and a teeny weeny little market. I scoured the shops and brought a coat and gloves today because it is so unbelievably cold here! I\'...

Today we made our way from Franz Joseph to Queenstown (an uber long drive). We stopped on the way for little beauty spots etc... like the so called mirror lake (where you cant tell the difference between the mountains and the lake because the reflection is so clear... apparently). We also drove past lake Wanake which was beautiful of course too. Once we arrived in Queenstown we check out the town (really really lovely) and got ready for our night out on the town....

Oh. My. God. Well... Today we spend the morning driving to Franz Joseph where on the way we stopped to check out a greenstone factory (special mauri stone) and some gold mining in Ross. We also tasted... POSSUM PIE! I know its sounds awful but I have to admit it was actually quite tasty! It was from the only cafe in the world whih has a license to sell them! Anyway down to the most important bit... we arrived in Franz Joseph at about 12ish in time for - THE GLACI...

Hey dudes, today we cruised on down to Greymouth - a pretty grey town as it was pouring with rain. Our hostel was cool; "Noah's Ark", with each room themed, I was in the monkey room! In the evening we went to Montieths Brewery, had a tour and tasted lots of beer. Then we had a BBQ in which the guys tried to beat the record of 26 sausages eaten - Tom got to 16!!
