Today we were all extremely hungover and noone else wanted to go so I took myself off to Palm Beach as I was desperate to see the famous site and of course see the home of the greatest show ever... HOME & AWAY! It was quite a long journey there (two hours on the bus) but it was a good oppertunity to pass through some suburbs and other every other day things you wouldnt normally see in the city. We passed through Manly, Newport, Avalon etc... before finally getting to Palmie. Unfortunatly the weather was pants and the whole place was absolutley deserted but it was definatly as beautiful as everyone claims. It was hillier than I expected but nevertheless very very cool. I took lots of piccies of the stunning scenery and the 'fence' where they (the home and away dudes) always are! I hung around for a bit taking it all in and go the bus back home. I was really glad I finally got to see it. By the time I got back to the city the weather was disgusting as it was chucking it down. I got back to the hostel and we all chilled out chatting in our room and had an early night.
