We arrived in Ko Samui around 3pm and we shared a taxi/tuk tuk with a Canadian couple called Gemma and Tyler who were really nice. When we into the town Gemma and I waited with all the bags, while the boys went off to find accommodation. They arrived back nearly an hour later and said they had found somewhere really nice but it was about half an hour away, so it was a bit of a treck to get there, but it was WELL worth it. They are little bungalows huts right on the beach. It probably would have taken 15 steps to get to the water from our front door! That night we went to the local place for some grub with Gemma and Tyler and then hit the sack around 11pm. I woke up really early the next morning and sat on the beach watching the locals fish. Its so amazing! They get this HUGE net and put it in the water and then walk around with a big stick scaring all the fish into the net! There were 6 Australian girls staying in the huts around us and they had said the night before that there was a really nice resort with a nice pool where they went every day and as long as you bought some drink you could use the facilities for free, so we headed off there for the day and chilled by the pool. It was so nice! The water outside our place wasn't too nice, so it was really good to be able to sunbathe and jump in the water when you got too hot (which is every 5 minutes!)That night we went to the next town for a night out. There was about 11 of us all in 1 big tuk tuk and it was a really good night out. The next day feeling sorry for ourselves, we booked our accommodation for Ko Phangan, which we had meant to do ages ago and spent another day by the pool. The Australian girls are really nice and its really weird being around so many girls because ive just been with the boys for the past 3 weeks. It took me a while to get used to all the girliness again!! They are all heading to Koh Phangan tomorrow as well and so are Gemma and Tyler so it will be a nice big group again for the full moon party! Our last night in Ko Samui was just spent in our little reception restaurant having dinner and some drinks. Im not sure they llike us so much because we have to re-arrange the furnature everytime we go in to accommodate all 11 of us! Our ferry to Ko Phangan is at 4pm and we are getting picked up at 2pm for some reason?!!? We are so happy because the place we are staying in Ko Phangan has said that they will come pick us up from the ferry for free! Our bungalows are right at the top of the island in a place called 'Bottle Beach' and the ferry gets into the very south of the island, so we were worried how much it was going to cost us!?!?!?The only problem now is finding a place to watch Ireland smash France in the rugby!!
