Well our trip has come to an end and we are finally home. Everyone happy to be greeted by our now seven month old puppy, Ruby. The final stats were 13,700kms, 1,954 litres of fuel and a journey that took us through five states. We reached Mungo National Park yesterday just in time for sunset over the Lunettes. What a spectacular place - just like a moonscape. This is where they found both Mungo Man and Woman believed to be about 42000 years old. Our campsite was great and there was only a few people there so it was very quiet with wallabies and Emus to keep us company. We'll we finally crossed the border into NSW yesterday and we are now in Broken Hill. We are staying in a motel so that we can hopefully make an early start today although that looks unlikely as the kids are still in bed!! Today we will head off to Mungo National Park which is about 300km South of Broken Hill. After leaving Coober Pedy we hit the Oodnadatta to our campsite at Coward Springs. I have stayed here before with Geoff Taylor and John Sheldon and wanted Pauletta and the kids to experience this great place. We'll here we are in the South Australian opal capital - Coober Pedy. We are staying in an underground motel which was tunnelled out of an old disused mine.
