Hi Folks

Yesterday we left Uyuni and had a very interesting bus journey on the way here to Potosi. 4 hours into the bumpy journey we had to get off as the road was washed away. The bus managed to make it through the stream but we had to jump across two ditches to get across. We arrived yesterday evening and went out for some nice food.

This morning we went for a tour of the mines, oh my god what an eye opener! even though it´s a Sunday we still saw men in there working, one of them had his 12 year old son with him (12 is the minimum age to work in the mines). Our tour guide lit some dynamite and showed us (outside the mine) how the miners use it - what an explosion! Tonight we are going out for a meal and getting up to head to Sucre tomorrow morning.
