We arrived at Kuala Lumpur late afternoon, and then headed straight out. We went to the Petronas towers, which were amazingly pretty from underneath, though we didn't go up them. We had dinner in the food court in the mall under the towers and then watched The Pursuit of Happyness at the cinema, which made both Kate and Debs cry but apparently seemed to have no effect on me.

The next day we walked to have breakfast at the place suggested to us by our tour leader. It wasn't that great. We then got a taxi to the National Mosque. We had to cover up so we wore some very sexy gown things and head scarfs. We looked ridiculous! The mosque was nice to see but not that interesting. We decided to head to the planetarium after that, but as it was a Monday it was closed. We discovered this after walking all the way to the top of the hill. We attempted to walk to Times Square (a shopping mall) but ended up going the wrong way so we got a taxi. The main reason for this visit was to go to the theme park that was inside it. It was 25 ringgit (4 pound) for unlimited rides. There was some really good rides there, including a roller coaster. We had fun, but had to leave to get back for dinner. We went back to the hotel and met everyone else, we were about to leave to go to the Menora Tower and then dinner when it started chucking it down with rain. It was typical Malaysia rain where it literally buckets down and then stops. The group got divided then,half including Kate went for dinner and the rest of us went up the tower and then had dinner. The tower was wicked as there was a tour using headphones and you could see loads from up there. We had dinner at a chinese, had some lush sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice. We went back to get changed and then everyone went to a reggae bar. It was an awesome night, we got very drunk and did alot of dancing. Kate went home earlier than I did and I somehow ended up watching Scary Movie 4 with some of the others and then going on the internet til the early hours. Apologies to those who got drunken messages or conversations! After that apparently we thought it was a good idea to stay up and then get on the bus early the next day. It was not.
