Blog posts coming thick and fast now people! Its waaaayyyy too humid to sleep right now so thought I would do a bit of a blog instead.

After my blog last night we headed up the road to a bar called 'ark bar' which is set up on the beach. Every wednesday they hold beach parties so we thought we would go and check it out. It was quite busy but almost everybody there was a tourist. After a while in the bar we decided to go and watch a ladyboy show, aparently its cultural... hmmm. We were very late so only really caught the last half hour or so but at the end they come off stage and pick a load of people from the crowd. It just so happened to be my lucky day! So I was dragged by this ladyboy up onto the stage with about 6 others and was then ushered backstage. After being fondled (im not even joking) by a 6ft 5 beefy 'woman' I was told to take off my shirt and shorts for our performance. I had DEFINATELY not had enough cocktails for that so pretty much point blank refused so they, thank god, sent me back to my table. A very lucky escape! I then went back to the ark bar for the football which kicked off over herre at 1:45am. Probably not worth staying up for the entire thing but was good to see live sport again, has been a while. I think I made it to bed at about 5:45am.

This mroning we had a bit of a laze around in pool and on beach and then decided to rent some scooters. No driving licence, ID or previous experience required we got a bike each for 150baht (thats 3 quid) for 24 hours! Cheeeeap! It was quite difficult getting used to at first and as there was no where to practice we pretty much just hit the open road! Yes Dad i know my insurance probably doesnt cover it etc etc but wooo it was proper good fun! We headed out to some temple, then to really nice look out spot and then back to the hotel. We are planning another quick ride tomorrow morning before we leave this place :)

Its now half 11 in the evening and I have slept for about 4 hours in the past 2 days so pretty knackered. We had dinner on the beach again and Debs and Matt send up one of those chinese lantern thingys with a wish written on it... happiness, wealth and a tan! haha We also ended up catching a bit more ladyboy action before I rode the scooter back to the hotel. Tomorrow we catch the overnight train to bangkok so will probably blog again in a couple of days when the tour ends!
