On Tuesday, 23 June we woke up to a massive storm - rain, lightening and thunder. We were snug in our bed and just stayed there until it had passed. Clever Pinterest has been making travel suggestions to me for the last little while and one of the pics that have been popping up in my feed is of some beautiful ruins hovering over the cliff with turquoise waves crashing below. On Sunday, 21 June we woke up and packed a day pack as we were heading to some ruins outside of the city called Coba. We had some breakfast and then found a great little bakery and bought some snacks for later. Bakeries are everywhere in Mexico and they all churn out stacks of the most delicious baked goods.
