Penny was working lates today so we said we would meet up at her house for a coffee around 11.30. We were so surprised to wake up and find it was gone ten. We had a quick breakfast before walking to their house. We sat in the garden and looked at the plants there.Joan had misplaced her camera so we went to the Library which was the last place she thought it could be. Luckily it had been handed in so we hadn't lost the racoon picture.It was a hot day and we seem to have done a lot of walking. We stopped at The Stone Liom, a pub where we had eaten over ten years ago when we came to Toronto for Stephanie's christening. We had quesadilla sliders and guacamole.After a rest back at the flat we went to watch Stephanie play football. Her side won 1-0. There was an over-entusiatic Dad-coach for the opposite team who was rather amusing. Then we caught an Uber cab into central Montreal and went to a large Italian restaurant, Scaddabush, near where Penny worked. No matter what we ordered the waiter said "Great choice!"The butternut squash pasta Joan and Penny ate was delicious as was the artichoke and cauliflower fritto misti.It was a midnight drop-off at the flat. We're becoming veritable night owls!
