We drove down to Niagara with all the family. We nearly didn't make it to the theatre at Niagara on the Lake where we were watching Alice in Wonderland. We left late, the traffic was heavy and the kids wanted a McDonalds. Joan loves Alice in Wonderland but the production, though spectacular, did not have the humour of the book. Plus the actress who was playing Alice was way too old. Some of the family fell asleep during the play. Niagara on the Lake looks lovely and it would be great to visit again.We then drove down to the falls itself. It was late afternoon on a hot day. Joan hasn't been there before and was surprised to see that the falls is in full view of the main road and you don't have to catch a boat to appreciate them. They weren't as high as expected but the amount of water was spectacular.In the evening we had an Italian in Scarborough.
