Monday 31st August - Sailing The boat had a Lifeboat drill and most attended and shortly afterwards the loudspeaker system sounded to tell us that the boat was about to get under way and so we went up to deck 5 to watch the pulling away from the jetty and then proceeding down passed the Grand Canal and out towards the Adriatic Sea. Monday 31st August - Beer in a back street We wandered along some of the back streets from St Mark's Square mainly to get out of the crowds and secondly to find a cheap beer place.
