Sunday 17th DecemberIt was a real slog getting to Zanzibar, minivan, then ferry, then another minivan, then another ferry, then another minivan. But it was all worth it in the end. 16th December We drove to Dar Es Salaam today and camped at the beach - the place even has a swimming pool but the ants here are huge! It turned into quite a heavy night drinking for some people on the vodka slush puppies and at one point they started throwing people in the pool so not wanting to be unceremoniously dumped in, I just threw myself in - if you can't beat em, join em!
