The story so far......
Well I'm back in the UK and it's all change. Simon and I have moved to St Albans and I'm working in London. It's been great to see the folks and fantastic to catch up with friends.
It's funny - Safia said something that made me think. She expected me to have changed and to come back all wise and stuff! I guess I ha…
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.Hey everyone and welcome to my site. I'm off on my travels on 21st November - going around the world for a year. I've never been on a plane for longer than 3 hours so it's pretty epic for me. I'm really excited about seeing giraffes and the prospect of riding one called Gerry! Read on to find out more about what I've been up to. Love Kerry x

Booh! Bet you never thought I'd find my way to your website. Well I have and I've just been reading some of your blogg. Ever thought of a career in writing? I could spend all day reading your entries, especially about Africa.
Can't believe it's nearly time for you to come home. We're really looking forward to seeing you and listening to all your tales and of course inviting you to our new home in Cambridgeshire! Not that it's new to us anymore, we've been here for nearly 10 months now. Have you been to Cambridge before? We've fallen in love with the city - it's beautiful. We'll have to go for a punt, always worth a laugh with Chris doing the punting, be prepared to get wet!
Well, best get on. Moving 2 of the 6 rabbits we now have in order to put a greenhouse up and to make a raised vegetable patch.
Take care of yourself and stay safe.
Lots of love, Lisa and Chris xxxxx

Hello Lovely
Sorry I havent been writing much, please forgive me - a very active bump has meant ive been almost constantly sick, coupled with the more than anticipated house renovations and full on crazy work load has meant ive hardly had a minute to myself ... but I have been following all of your blog and it has been wonderful to drift off to far flung places of my own memories and have new dreams of places yet to visit.
It will be lovely to have Simon with you again - I hope he is on the mend I know it can takes a long time to feel totally recovered.
Well done on you on the new job - only you could pick up a new job, flat and everything else to start over again with such ease. I always knew you were superwoman.
Will write soon once our home internet is working again, it's tricky to write from work.
Take care love Charina, the whale.

Hi Kerry,Just been catching up with all your adventures - sounds like you are having an amazing time. I wanted to just leave you a note to say thank you on behalf of everyone at CH for the postcards. Weird because two of them arrived on the same day from Kenya and Cape Town. I have stuck them like most important stuff at CH on the executive note board - the fridge!! Actually it was really interesting seeing your photographs of Cape Town as I am going to South Africa on holiday in March and we start off there before travelling down to George as my mum has a friend who runs a B&B there. Finally we end the week going on safari to a place called the Kruger. Anyway, if you have any 'must see' places let me know, table mountain looked pretty spectacular from your pictures so that is on my list. Hope you carry on enjoying yourself on your travels, look forward to seeing the info and pictures from your next place. Nicki xx

Hiya! I've just been having a good old catch up with your postcards and photos. I can't believe how many places you've already seen - is the time going very quickly? I'm in awe of your adventures and am very jealous you've stroked a lion - I'd love to have a go at that. But you can keep the giraffe-kissing thank you very much! Talking of cats, I sent Daisy off to a new home just after Christmas, so she can much more spoilt by someone else. William is growing fast and I can't believe it's his first birthday in 9 weeks' time! Matt's got a new 'management' job, that's going well........and speaking of jobs, I resigned from Crazy Horse too this week. I'm off to a tiny agency in Southborough, still part time (although with a 9:30 start - bonus!), going back to being the Girl Friday I used to be. Starting on 1 March so wich me luck! Hope you continue to have a brilliant time out there. Lots of love from Fiona, Matthew and William xxxx
