Latvia is smaller and more basic country. Today I cycled my most , 155 km! It was the hilliest day too so I worked hard! Then the next day was 139 km North heading into Estonia our next country. This week I am feeling stronger and a better cyclists! Practice makes perfect!

Now we are cycling through Lithuania. It is a country that was invaded by Russia many years ago and owned by them for 100 years. Then in 1991 they became independent . So when I went to school I never learned of this country; I learned of the USSR ( United Soviet Socialist Republic) in geography, not Lithuania!
