Our plane was delayed about half an hour and left Glasgow about 10pm last night. We were on an Emirates Boeing 777-300ER Rego A6-ENR. I reckon there was a near miss around dawn when we made a sharp turn to the right and then I noticed a large aircraft pass close by, out the left side window!

We landed in Dubai about 8am. By the time we changed terminals and found our new departure gate it was almost time to check in again. However, the boarding was incredibly slow and we ended up leaving half an hour late again at 11am Dubai time which was 5pm Brisbane time.
