Ken Price's Travels
Today, we headed off early for Heidelberg where we were to visit the markets. Unfortunately, we were too early and the markets weren't open. However, we enjoyed a German Strudel in the town square and climbed a steep path to view the historic Heidelberg Castle. We then drove through the edge of the Black Forest to the Swiss border where a guard hopped in and examined all our passports. We stopped for a look at the beautiful Rhine Falls before reaching Lucerne. Here we saw the lion monument but it was getting dark so we headed to the Hotel Krone. This was a beautiful place covered in snow and an amazing view of snow covered houses and Christmas lights out the window.
