Today, we took the subway to South Ferry and caught the ferry from Battery Park to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island where we did audio tours. At the statue, we found a small cafe that sold 'Fish and Chips' which we thought sounded good. Turns out that in America, that means fish and a packet of crisps... disappointing!

After that, the girls went shopping while Mitch and I walked from Battery Park around to the Brooklyn Bridge and then halfway across the bridge. The bridge was a great achievement in its time but the poor old girl is in need of a lot of maintenance now.

We all met back at the hotel and had dinner at the Amsterdam Ale House again.
