Had a great two weeks in Perth. It worked out amazing as I got to move in with Rheann, Jase, Eli, Dom and Tim, and was so good to see them! Especially Rheann as shes been one of my best mates since primary school and we were both on round the world trips and had hoped to make our plans overlap so we could meet at some point! The guys had this great house and a spare room for me, so I helped towards rent and it saved me a hostel so it worked out perfect!

The beaches around Perth are amazing. Cottlesloe, Scarborough and City Beach all have white sand and clear blue water, similar to that at Lake McKenzie, it was just stunning, Amazing weather too, hot but a nice breeze!

One night the girls and I went out to this club called Eve as as usual we had blagged it for que jump and free entry, the boys stayed in had a curry and watched football, so a great night all round.

The others had brought a car whilst I was there which was cool so made it easier for us to do road trips. We spent the day at Swan Valley, wine tasting (for free), and visited the chocolate factory and tried cheese and olives etc, basically just scavved everything all day-loved it backpacker style.

We had a couple of amazing BBQs, played drinking games at the flat, had movie nights and just generally chilled out. The others all are working but on different shifts so I always had someone to hang with.

On my last day with everyone we went to Good Vibrations Festival...it was so much fun! Basement Jaxx, Gossip, Armand Van Helden, Salt N Pepa etc...just danced our asses off for hours!! Great end to an amazing couple of weeks!
