So I have been in Sydney for a week now, time flies. Having an amazing time already.

Flew with the dodgy Tiger Airways but made it to Sydney in good time. Its really easy to get into the city from the airport, the train takes just over 10 minutes. I was so excited to get to there as Ellie and Adam were waiting for me at the station (good friends from back home for those of you who don't know them). We had a nice dinner and enjoyed a glass of wine whilst trying to get over the fact we were in SYDNEY!!!

The next morning Amy came to get us, was so great to see her again, the minute we reunited it seemed like we hadn't had the 4 months apart since meeting and travelling New Zealand together back in July. Amy had driven her car down from Brisbane so its awesome we will have a car for road trips over the next 5 weeks living together in Sydney.

Then we drove towards Balgowlah and Manly...our new home for the next 5 weeks or so....I knew the house looked amazing from the pictures but it was even better in real life, we have landed on our feet its like a mini cribs!!!!! So lucky, its a beautiful house in a beautiful area. So excited to be living her. We celebrated with an afternoon down at the gorgeous Manly beach and Adam cooked us our first BBQ in the garden. Good times.

Saturday was then one of the best days of my life as Amy and I headed back into the city to go to Stereosonic festival-something I'd been waiting for since we brought the tickets a few months ago....My 2 favourite DJs Axwell and Deadmau5 were headlining, plus other amazing DJs, it was set to be a day to remember and it definitely was. Perfect weather and we got right to the very front at the barriers in the centre, so just decided not to move because I didnt want to loose the space with 10,000 people behind us. We just danced for 8 hours straight literally, I loved it. The sets were amazing. I had the best time ever. The bouncers constantly hosed you down as it was so hot but it was refreshing. It was an amazing experience and what a weekend to start my time in Sydney.
