When we arrived in cairns, we picked up our 'Juicy' van and headed towards Cape Tribulation. It's so much fun having the van and being able to drive everywhere. On the way to Cap Trib we stopped off at Port Douglas for the night in a backpachers/camp site called Dougies which was so good.
