Well thanks to Rachels bro Paul I had 3 wonderful nights here in a house after not being in one for 4months & had a lovely double bed plus home cooked yummy food, when it came to leaving I could have cried or easily got on a plane back home ha ha. We had to get a ferry across from the South island which was a tad rough well thats an under statement really but thankfully I wasn't ill!! The weather was stormy for the 1st day so went to the Te Papa museum which was huge then had a look around the shops, seeing lots I wanted but yet couldn't buy.... Next day the sun was out so we got the cable car as shown in the pic up to the Botanical gardens.
