After the first nights drinks, we decided not to do much on our first full day in Thailand.

After waking, we headed straight to the Vietnamese embassy to get our visas sorted for later in our travels. Even though it's only 10 miles down the road, due to the awful traffic in Bangkok, it took close to one hour to reach - at least it only cost £1.40 each.

Same day processing would have been ideal but we didn't want to hang around for 5 hours so £50 lighter, we attempted to flag down a taxi to take us back to the hostel - the drivers seem to think it's too far and in turn it takes a while to find a driver who's willing to make the journey.

After a few hours chilling in the room, we decided to head out for one of the notorious ping-pong shows. No further blog entry required.
