Today was a busy day exploring the big city of Bangkok. We started out the day making our way to the Royal Palace. We first had to navigate the SkyTrain, one of Bangkok's public transportation trains as we made our way there. It was quite easy and very clean. Today we said goodbye to the beach. We got up a little earlier today to pack and enjoyed our last delicious breakfast at Rayavadee Resort. We definitely enjoyed our time here! To get back to the airport, we boarded the Rayavadee boat and enjoyed the boat ride until we reached the town of Krabi. We had a short flight to Bangkok and then took a taxi to our hotel. Today we had to actually set an alarm to make sure we got up in time to make our boat trip to Phi Phi Island. We still started out with our delicious breakfast; everything changes each morning so we love sampling the different Thai dishes that they have. Today was another relaxing day on the beach. We enjoyed another great breakfast and then it was off to kayak around the small islands near our beaches. We brought our camera along in a dry bag but were too scared to pull it out with all of the waves so we didn't take any pictures. There are two islands right off the beach so we headed there first. As we are now on the beach, time moves much slower. We got a great night's sleep and slowly made our way to breakfast this morning. What a spread! The breakfast buffet in Chiang Mai had a wide variety that we thought couldn't be topped but this was fantastic. Not only was there a large selection of Western and Asian options (fruit, cheeses, eggs, fried rice, noodles) but the quality of the food was exquisite.
