Today we said goodbye to the beach. We got up a little earlier today to pack and enjoyed our last delicious breakfast at Rayavadee Resort. We definitely enjoyed our time here! To get back to the airport, we boarded the Rayavadee boat and enjoyed the boat ride until we reached the town of Krabi. We had a short flight to Bangkok and then took a taxi to our hotel. The traffic in Bangkok is pretty bad, even in the middle of the day.

We enjoyed a nice relaxing afternoon at the hotel, gathering ideas on what to do from the concierge while we had our afternoon tea. We did some reading at the outdoor pool on the 21st floor of our hotel and enjoyed a nice sunset over the city. We then headed out to Mango Tree for dinner. It was a nice restaurant that had both indoor and outdoor seating. While we enjoyed sitting outside people watching and listening to the traditional Thai musicians that were playing, we did miss the air conditioning as we ate our spicy dishes. Tomorrow, we plan to visit the Royal Palace, another outdoor market and take a water taxi for a trip on the river that runs through the city.
