Today was the bet day ever! Tiger Kingdom! We did lots of research into the different tiger sancturies they have in thailand and found chiang Mai to have the best review in regards to not drugging or harm the animals, so after deciding to not rely on taxis again we hire a bike and attempt to make our own way there, we make it eventually and choose the package to do big, small and smallest tigers, we decide to have lunch first (mostly so I can psych myself up to goon a cage with a fully grown tiger!) and the restraint over looks one of the enclosures where you can see the Tigers playing around in a pool while people pose for pictures around them, it's easy to see that these tigers are not drugged the way they are playing and jumping around which makes it even more terrifying! After scrubbing our hands to get the smell of food off of them we are ready and decide to start with the big ones, we go in after being told a few safety precautions not to touch the Tigers heads, and to stroke them firmly as soft strokes can tickle and annoy them. So we go in and are lead to one tiger sitting on a table, we get a few pictures before the tiger gets bored and wanders off they really are huge! And the fact the trainers only have tiny bamboo stick to protect us if the Tigers get angry! Next we go into the small tiger enclosure where the Tigers are 4 and 5 months old but still pretty huge, these ones are far more scary as they are so playful and fast, the were cute but definatley looked like they could eat us if they wanted to! Finally we go in to the smallest tiger room where they are only 2 months old! These are the cutest and are just like playful cats! (With huge teeth and claws) we don't want to leave this enclosure but eventually we have to and we leave with some amazing pictures and memories
