Started the week with a day off for Kim's birthday, the plan was to go into nyc so I spent ages finding coverage and making sure I was off for it, then she changes her mind and we end up back at the motel! We find a super American dive bar with $1 beers and kareoke which looked awful but we actually ended up having a really good night! Went on the water rafting trip again which was not a fun as last time because it rained and we didn't have a guide so being the responsible adult in the raft I was in charge of captaining the boat! Crazy right? One of the boy counsellors called izzo decided to declare Saturday izzo day! I later found out he had to donate $500 to camp for them to allow him to do it but the kids loved it! They had grilled cheese and ice cream for breakfast, crazy dangerous Womack challenges such as who can make the tallest stack of chairs because chairs are only usually ever stacked 4/5 high! Finished the night off with an old evening activity called miss Fairview lake which is a beauty pageant banned a long long time a go where all the boys dress up like girls the night was topped off with an less than average firework display and the cops being called because fireworks are illegal in nj! The rest of the week has been long as my day off was right at the start and I would love an full week to sleep and not eat camp food but still loving the place, the people and the kids. Been swimming across the lake every day when I can because I need to take a buddy which is definitely something I'm going to miss! Who knew exercise could just be chatting and looking at beautiful views! Started dance up again this week and the kids are amazing! Probably to high of a level for me to teach but the dance is looking awesome as is the play we had a lot of fun with costumes this week and I don't think I'm ever going to get the 'you can fly' song out of my head
