First day of training involved ase which is team building activities in the woods most of them were fun but one was a blindfolded maze, after around 20 minutes I start getting frustrated as I can't hear the other councillors any more and think I am the last one in the maze, the leaders keep saying if you need help just ask but being the stubborn person I am I wanted to finish the stupid maze, when I eventually gave up I realised everyone else was standing around watching the last few of us go round in circles, the metaphor was that we shouldn't be afraid to ask for help or some bs like that! I was not afraid just stubborn, and I felt pretty stupid! Next was a ridge hike, a 2 mile steep hill climb with an average view at the top
