We get the the ferry point a good 30 minutes before it's due to leave, and no one is there one of the 'taxi men'/guy on a horse tells us the ferry is leaving from the other side of the island today! Up early to check out and back on another bistro he next island. Gili meno is only about a kilometre away so we get there pretty quick, we find the first bungalow with aircon there is and go off exploring. There really is nothing here. One restaurant/ bar and lots of beaches, I don't mind the peace and quiet after a crazy few days on gili t but Elliot hates it and we decide to leave tomorrow afternoon!

Today we went on a tandem bike ride around the island because Elliot had been begging for us to since we got here! It didn't work! We did not make a good tandem bike team! And I ended up walking some of the way, we eventually got to the beach on the other side of the island which was completely empty, and we found a lovely hermit crab called Herbert. Today is a very sad and hungover day we eventually make it outside by 2pm and head straight to the beach for some food, however swimming in the choppy sea does not seem appealing! After some nachos and 4 glasses of Apple juice I start to feel more alive and we go for a walk around the island which, although is tiny, we eventually give up because of the heat and our hangovers and go to a pool bar for some more Apple juice! Up and on the ferry over to the gili Island starting with gili t! The boat over was more like a party boat with huge speakers and staff offering us beer every few minutes, a very pleasant journey, when we get the we check in and head straight for the beach which we have seriously missed!
