Up and on the ferry over to the gili Island starting with gili t! The boat over was more like a party boat with huge speakers and staff offering us beer every few minutes, a very pleasant journey, when we get the we check in and head straight for the beach which we have seriously missed! The sea is so ridiculously blue, more than either of us have ever seen and there are huge fish, just a few feet from the shore, our hotel provided free snorkels with the room but the didnt price to be very efficient, the current was also so strong it was hard work to swim for more than a few minutes as we got out of the sea Elliot randomly bumps into a friend from home who we arrange to meet up with later. We have a lovely candlelit dinner on the beach and after a few pre drinks we head to the bars, our first proper night out since laos and it didn't disappoint ending in me trying challenge a Indonesian woman to a head balancing competition, which I lost! But come on she carries stuff on her head for a living!
