We get the the ferry point a good 30 minutes before it's due to leave, and no one is there one of the 'taxi men'/guy on a horse tells us the ferry is leaving from the other side of the island today! We've been in Asia long enough now and no a scam when we see one! He just wants us to get in his 'taxi' we politely decline and carry on waiting, then the ticket lady comes over and tells us the ferry is leaving from the other side of the island! Damn it! We decide to walk as the island is tiny but I get frustrated and make Elliot carry my bag as he's the male therefore this is all his fault! We finally get to the boat and have to walk a good 100 metres through the water without bags to climb onto the boat which is always fun! We finally arrive in gili air and I leave Elliot with the bags while I find somewhere to stay, seriously I don't know why we don't precook anymore! I return 2 hours later just as it's getting dark as everywhere is booked up or is ridiculously priced! We finally find somewhere which is a bit out of our price range but will have to do! Then we head out to get dinner!
