Today is temples day! (Got to be done I suppose) after paying an extortionate amount for tickets ($20 each!!!) and tuk tuk tour ($15) we make our way to Angkor wat, apparently one of the wonders of the world! It was ok. So today we arranged to volunteer at a local orphanage which also offered free English lessons for the poorer families in the area, we thought we would be able to have a look around, play some games with the children and maybe help out with the English lessons, we were wrong. Had a chilled day by the pool at the hostel today! Awesome place for meeting people with floating beetling and a funnel that goes from the second floor balcony to the pool! After a long day waiting around in yucky bangkok we end up rushing through the airport because of ridiculous traffic! We only flew because we were told we had to show proof of onward travel in thailand not because were lazy!
