we got dropped off some place random instead of them dropping us off at some hotels so off we trapsed with our bags and got badgered by locals to look at their cheap rooms looked in some holes and finally found a nice cheap hotel, went to get something to eat and took my malaria tablet without food BIG mistake i felt like i had been drugged all dizzy felt sick was awful lesson learnt listen to the dr when he says take pills with food! Anyway we booked on to a tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels which was built in the war between north vietnam and south vietnam was very impressive they built hospitals, movie theatres, supermarkets under the ground and housed about 400 people we got to go underground and only managed 15m worth of tunnels like most other tourists they are so small and really made for tiny vietnamese people not western tourists but was cool to go down there they had a shooting range where me and jono wanted to fire some guns but only had machine guns and really expensive to fire them so will wait til cambodia want to hold a hand gun just like a ctu agent in 24 and say freeze! just had dinner and was sitting next to some dodgy geezers who were pretending to buy a cigarette lighter but was actually buying drugs...i should work undercover nothing gets past my nose!!!! Anyway yet ANOTHER long bus journey tomorrow to cambodia quite scared expecting all dust and dirty tracks instead of roads and nothing there....eek!
