Howdy!
When we arrived round Leo’s house he showed me to my room and I quickly freshened up and we then went to the mall to have a look around.
I didn’t want to sit down as I knew I would fall asleep and I had to try and stay awake for as long as possible.
When we got to Knox mall I needed to get an Aussie sim card for my phone, once we had down that there wasn’t much else to do so we walked round to Leo’s step mums house which was according to Leo 20mins away! (20 mins my butt) in his defence though he did offer to get a taxi there, but I refused and wanted to walk.
I was really tired by the time we got there and was quite quiet.
When we had arrived everyone was out apart from Nick, Leo’s little brother and we sat and talked to him while we waited for Albert Leos uncle to pick us up.
When we got back I was soooooo tired I had to have a cat nap, when I woke up we decided to go back to Knox and have a few drinks in the Irish bar there.
It was a really buzzing place being Saturday night and random people kept saying how they loved my hair! Ha!
After a few drinks I felt quite awake (funny that) and we went to get something to eat…I wanted pizza! So we went to the take away and got a pizza each, I was hungry!!
We went back and watched a bit of TV and went to bed.
Me and Leo went into the city and walked around.
We met a few people I had met last time I was here, which was really nice. They were working so didn’t stay long.
Then we found ice skating and I really wanted to go. I was so bad at it, but didn’t fall over thank god! There were two people who were so good, and made me look a bit silly hanging on the edge all the time!! After a few circles though I was doing it without holding on.
Leo unfortunately fell and hurt his arm quite badly...he is now in a bandage!! Opps!
Think someone got a little bit too confident!
Oh!! I also brought my NZ ticket! Whoop! I fly into Wellington on the 14th of Jan.
I also met up with Jenny who has been here over a year now and loving it.
She has such a nice place on South Bank and it was good to see a familiar face.
We decided we would go to St Kilder beach for lunch where a strange man kept throwing sweets at Jenny. It was quite funny really as everywhere we went we seemed to have attracted freaks! Three to be precise.
After St Kilder we went back to South bank and got ice cream and relaxed round her flat.
She seems very happy, and I hope to go out with her one night before I leave.
The weather here has actually been quite cold, but today it’s really hot…although no Aussies think so. I say it is..Ha!!
Hope everyone is well.
Lots of love.
