Thank god it's Friday - not that it means much to me anymore seeing as I don't get that Friday feeling because I have it all the time! Sydney is really good, loads to see and do, but unfortunately that means spending lots of money. So we have decided to spread the sightseeing out over the few weeks I am here. I moved into Pete's place on Tuesday and met up with my Intrepid group that night and got wasted - I drank a jaegerbomb (jaegermiester and red bull) and that sent me right over the edge - I don't remember getting home! So Wednesday I didn't feel too clever, Pete, Kay, Emily and I went up to the Sydney Tower to get a view of the city. It was a beautiful clear day and we could see for miles, but it was quite high for my liking! We seemed to spend hours up there, only one of the lifts was working so we had to wait ages to get back down. We walked back to Pete's afterwards and watched a DVD and just chilled out for the rest of the evening. Yesterday Pete, Kay and I went to the aquarium, which was a good laugh. Lots of fish and stuff to see, wasn't that impressed with the touch pool, I touched a shark in Mexico and all they had were starfish in this one! The shark tunnel was quite cool, they had the biggest stingray I've ever seen just floating in one place. After what happened this week, I still couldn't like them!! It's been really sad over here this week with Steve Irwin dying, I really regret not going to his zoo now. My friend Kay went last month and was lucky enough to see him there. Today has been pretty laid back, stayed in watching DVD's, going out tonight though, should be a good laugh. Kay is staying in Sydney now until next Thursday which is great, although I feel like a complete gooseberry with her and Pete sometimes!! x x x
