My Intrepid Tour officially finished today so yet again I am going it alone! Not scary now though as I moved into Pete's apartment for 2 weeks. Just been food shopping and it's a lot cheaper here! It was good to meet up with Pete on Sunday, we went to an AFL game, Swans V Carlton and the Swans smashed them! I didn't watch hardly any of the game as we were chatting and drinking, plus the atmosphere was terrible! After the game you're allowed onto the pitch and can kick balls around. Pete got a ball in the eye, which was quite funny. It was a bit dangerous though as there were balls coming from all angles! We left the ground and headed to the Harbour. It's really nice down there and we had a couple of drinks in a pub. We headed to Chinatown afterwards and had a lovely noddle dinner there before heading back to the hotel. Yesterday, me, Emily and Trish went and did some sightseeing. We caught a bus to Bronte and had a lovely breakfast there, and walked all along the coast to Bondi Beach, which isn't as impressive as I thought. We then caught the bus to the Botanical Gardens and walked all around there. Everyone in Sydney seems to jog and the park was full of them, I honestly thought there was a marathon going on there were so many! We walked for miles and then Emily and I caught a ferry to Manly, stayed there for an hour and came back. Last night we went out for a lovely Indian meal, I had the hottest Chicken Tikka Masala ever!! Not doing much today, just chilling out before Kay arrives this afternoon. I'm sure a few beers tonight and a proper farewell to some of the guys from my tour! x x x x
