this is the second time of writting as the battery just died and i lost it all! anoying. theyd better not charge me for the extra time!

the lake gardens were good and relaxing we went to a bird park which was cool.

we left kl and got on a 3 hr bus to jerentut where we got a very long shallow boat 3 hours upstream to the centre of taman negara. the jungle! stayed here for 3 nights. did trecking and cooled off in the river. we walked lots through the jungle and weated till we were soaked through!!

we left there and headed to the east coast which we travelled up by coach and spent a night in terrenuggunu or something like that. we are now on the perhentian islands just south of kota buru. we are on the smaller island and it is amazing. were n a little wooden hut with our own bathroom (a first) right on the beach for 50 ringets a night (a tenner!) weather is amazing. hot hot hot. the sea is hot and there is nothing to do but laze about eat drink swim and snorkel. been here 1 night now. going on a snorkelling day tomorow around both islands which were looking forwad to. its so peaceful, nice to be away from the buzy city and lots of people!!

we have 5 nights booked then we are heading across to lankawi on the west coast for a bit. hope you are all well. until next time xxxx
