Hello from Singapore..we arrived here at 7am having spent 12 hours in a mumbai airport which was not fun! we got to the hostel at 9am having used the very clean and easy trains to get close by. It was hot even at that time and carrying 2 bags was not fun.
Could not check in till 1 so left bags and went to check out city. walked all the way into town, round harbour and china town then back to hostel checked in and got some sleep. Room fine air con and fan.
Walked around the harbour and took lots of pics of it all lit up, very nice.

Thurs: Today we got the bus to the zoo and night safari. really nice zoo, no real cages just moats so could get close and no fences. alex took about a million pics! Night safari really good too, walked all round a whole different zoo next door. sat and had a singapore sling whilst watching some local entertainment.

Fri: Bus to sentosa for the day. went to underwaterworld and dolphin lagoon which was not as good as expected. no dolphin shows for 4 hours! and nothing to do till then. went to butterfly and bird park. fed some birds. went to the beach and in the sea. such nice warm water. didnt take a towel and was not gunna pay $35 for 1 so just went in up 2 waist. got mrt to orchard rd and walked up and down it. loads of shops and malls!

Sat: paked and went to airport on the mrt. so easy and cheap! got some food then checked in. wondered around airport then sat in departure lounge. plane delayed for an hour but got to malaysia by 6ish anyway. got on a coach that took us to china town in kl which is where were staying. took over an hour though!
Hostel nice, fan in room, lots more people here to talk to. went out onto streets which are filled with markets. a crazy experience!! might try an spend more time here if they have space. for now night night
