Another LONG day of travelling today - left Franz Josef at 7.30am to arrive in Wanaka at 3.30pm. We had quite a few stops though so it didn't feel like we were on the bus for too long at a time. First stop was at Lake Matheson which was in front of Mt. Cook and M.Tasman and was pretty reflective causing ome pretty stunning views. It was a nice crisp morning and to walk around the lake took about an hour, all the way round there were lots of look out points with beautiful views. After we left the lake we drove for a while over the largest single lane bridge in the country and then onto the Haast Pass over the mountains, lots and lots of photo stops - beatiful coast lines, mountains and lakes. After writing this I have realised what a pointless post it is but I have written it now so.....
