Happy Birthday Mummy - even though I am posting this after 4th May.....

I went horse trekking this morning I was on a horse called Turk who was a huge beautiful grey he did have a bit of a mind of his own however and kept wandering off in a totally different direction to where I was telling him to go. I was the "most experienced rider in the group" - lol so I was lead horse! we trekked to the top of some mountains and stopped to take some photos of more stunning New Zealand views! We went trotting off down the mountains and somehow I rememberd how to do a rising trot - according to our guide I had been modest about my riding abilities - lol again (Laugh out Loud for those of you who don't know!) I forgot to describe attractive outfit number 2 - short riding boots, chaps and a riding hat weren;t too bad but the gorgeous full length green mac/trench coat was definately the icing on the cake!

The bus ride from River Valley to Wellington seemed to take forever, but I finally arrived in New Zealands capital city and my last stop in the North Island! On the way here the bus stopped in a town called Bulls - every store and cafe and pub had made a pun from the name of the town. For Example The Police Station - "Const-a-Bull" The Social Club - "Soci-a-Bull" The antique shop - "Trash and Treasure-a-Bull" it goes on!

Apart from that my afternoon was spent snoozing and watching more stunning scenery pass by the bus windows!
