Hello,
Sorry for not updating in a while. Decent internet has been very sparse. We've done an awful lot since La Paz. Went to a little island on Lake Titicaca for a few days which was lovely. We then went round to the Peru side of the lake to visit the "floating islands" made of reeds that the fishing families live on. Next was Arequipa - Peru's second city, then on to Nazca where we flew over the Nazca Lines in a tiny 6-seater plane. The lines were carved into the desert thousands of years ago, producing huge animal designs and weird geometric shapes - pretty awesome. Had a lot of trouble getting to Cusco from there, we eventually took an epic bus journey, broke down halfway and spent a total of 25 hours on it. But we made it eventually and Cusco is amazing. A really nice ancient Inca city with amazing architecture and tiny cobbled streets. We've also found an Indian restaurant that's showing the cricket world cup - planning on spending quite a bit of time there.
So that's about it for now, next (and final) stop is Machu Picchu next week.
